Susan Steggall Card - Foxglove

The origin of the name foxglove is unclear, some think it originates from ‘folksglove’ (being associated with fairies or little folk). Others suggest it comes from ‘fox’s gleow’ (a gleow being a ring of bells that would protect a fox from hunters).

She studied Graphic Design at Bath College and now lives and works in the New Forest.

Her illustrations are made using collages of different papers.
